My Contributions

In this project I learned how to build levels for a 3D top-down adventure game. Unity had a great tiling setting which facilitated the process of planning the levels. I was responsible for sketching out big picture with all the levels, the flow and the order of things. When it came to building, I was more focused on the starting area and the second temple area. I also helped in planning the different Zelda-like puzzles inside that temple area and making sure the starting area taught the player the necessary information in a logical and not overwhelming order.

It was a challenge to plan and build a temple-dungeon which had to have puzzles, an increase of difficulty and a layout of rooms that made sense together and didn't feel too boring to backtrack. In the end I am very happy with my contribution and the end result.
